When you ask someone how they are and they respond...
humanupskirt: crookedcunt: kylemillerrocks: Not once…but every day when you see them. Get some more sleep then, you are a fucking adult. I’m always tired. I get enough sleep. this should really have said “get used to being tired, you are a fucking adult.” i am always tired no matter how much i sleep. it’s because life is exhausting.  I just say I’m tired even when I’m not...

Greatest guy ever.
An eccentric, probably very rich, Texan on the Magnificent Mile. He had a cowboy hat, long Willie Nelson braids, a perfect Kris Kristofferson-esque white beard, a huge overcoat, and black boots with flames on them. He had other accessories too, but my brain could not process them. He was like Giygas in that he was such an amazing sight that I could not grasp his true form. He was confused and...

She is best friends with a friend of mine. I’m not actually working there, I just had to go there to pick up something for the office I intern at twice a week. Though you could tell her...

Ugh, of course I am supposed to work on Wednesday,...
I might just not go and make up the work on Saturday. It’s freelance shit, so who really cares as long as it gets done. It probably wasn’t going to be done by Saturday anyway.

Just got back from a trip to the Apple Store.
And I realized that I kind of would still like to work there in some capacity. It’s like my retail dream job. The girl at the checkout was almost assuredly new, so perhaps they are doing some hiring?

oldtobegin replied to your post: oldtobegin replied to your post: oldtobegin… the nice thing about TM is that it ISN’T super-spiritual. it’s more like: your mind is actually uncharted territory and the only way to tap into it is to shut the fuck up once in awhile. which i think is just the best common sense wisdom possible. This is relevant to my interests.

That’s basically what I am finding so far. I am not averse to trying some sort of...

Or did you just find Lynch’s ideas about meditation to be helpful on a metaphorical level for changing your mindset when approaching something creatively? If that makes any sense.

Everyone at work must thing I'm a crazy bipolar...
Some days I come to work and am clumsy and slow and seem to be mildly stupid, and I won’t look anybody in the eye, and I screw things up, and I am not good to talk to. Some days I come in and am basically the exact opposite of that. The difference between me properly medicated with a good amount of sleep, and not, is bigger than I realized.

C’mon, Billy. It’s been almost two decades. Corgan and 50 Cent should join forces. They have a lot in common. Is it where he says that Pavement represents “the...

abloodymess: clintisiceman: I don’t really get why it’s so widely considered Prince’s best album. It hurts for me to say this, but I don’t dig 1999 that much. Oh it is great and all, but it is always near the bottom of my big Prince albums list. Purple Rain I’ll give you. Oh man I love 1999. It’s so damn sexy and adventurous, like all great Prince records.

attackshipsonfire: clintisiceman: I don’t really get why it’s so widely considered Prince’s best album. Strong disagree. Sign ‘O’ the Times is the best Prince record, and one of the best pop double-albums ever. Almost every song is a stone-cold classic, and even the misfires are still charming. I rarely have the patience for double LPs. The fact that 1999 is able to keep me interested all...
