I finished reading 'Salem's Lot, then I read the prequel short story “Jerusalem’s Lot”, and now I’m finding myself somewhat obsessed with the idea that the vampire may have been contacted and told about the town through a psychic link with the equally ancient evil of Shudde M’ell, still living in a somewhat dormant state beneath the town.
