Confusing reddit fad of yesteryear: taking old black & white photos, colorizing them in Photoshop, and posting them. Because I guess not all of us realized that Ted Turner was wrong. The most confusing part of this is the number of upvotes people would get even when they didn’t do a particularly good job. I’ve seen people on that website fawn over photographs that looked like the shitty ’80s colorization of Night of the Living Dead. Or Civil War photographs where the colorizer got the color of the uniforms wrong. Really embarrassing stuff like that.
Confusing reddit fad of today: movie posters that are also bad cinemagraphs. I ran across a really cluster-fucky one for Django Unchained earlier and now I can’t find it.
