Hey so Magnet Magazine finally published this video I edited. My friend Jason Narducy just released an awesome debut album called Fragmented World as part of his new solo project Split Single. The album features Britt Daniel (Spoon) and Jon Wurster (Superchunk/The Mountain Goats) on bass and drums, respectively. I’m also pretty sure Britt co-produced it. This is a little four minute video about the making of the album and Jason’s background as a musician. Featuring interviews from Jason, Britt, and Jon, as well as Bob Mould (for whom Jason has been playing bass for nearly a decade) and Dave Grohl.

I’m pretty happy with this thing and you should watch it. Also, you should check out Jason’s record if you like classic alternative rock and power pop. He’s a fantastic songwriter and a really great singer.

Bob’s still got it.

That’s my friend Jason on bass. He was also in a punk band called Verboten that opened for Naked Raygun when he was like 11.
