happy endings shoots in toronto which is pretty much a good exchange for chicago. what confuses me, though, is that i didn’t think chicago was that expensive to shoot in.
Yeah Toronto is used as a double for Chicago a lot. It looks way more like Chicago than Los Angeles, that’s for sure. I don’t know if Chicago is expensive or difficult to shoot in or if Toronto is just really welcoming to filmmakers.
