I also read a comment on reddit today that seemed to be saying that Cards Against Humanity’s choice to not include rape jokes in their game is “censorship”.

This guy on reddit told a story about how he used the word “gay” as an insult and it hurt somebody and he got in trouble for it. I thought this was going to be a good story where the guy learned a lesson about how people can be callously homophobic without realizing it, but it turns out the point of his story was that he was quoting a meme and the other person “didn’t get it” and it was their own fault for being offended by a “well-intentioned joke”.

Predictably, redditors are trying to pass the buck on this whole “identifying a totally innocent person as the Boston bomber and spreading said information across social media” thing to “the media”.
