I'm Sam, I live in Chicago with my girlfriend and cat. I went to film school and work as a freelance editor and occasional camera guy. I like writing but don't do it professionally (yet).

I think I actually did this once when my mother asked me the same question.
this joke absolutely existed in my household when i was a kid. i remember when i finally saw the movie when i was maybe 11 or so i looked at my mom accusingly and said “you’re not as funny as i thought you were.” my mom being the wonderful woman that she is, she just laughed.
Seeing as how my dad has always been obsessed with this movie, this was a common dinner table quote for us as well.
